Review: 6.8 out of 10 stars.
A teenage scifi with a very subtle hint of comedy. Simpler plot and a little choppy on the script.
The director decided to pick a few kids who are pleasant and not that outcast or as rebels, in which it was hoping to portray.
A little of preaching was totally unnecessarily, defeating the purpose of a supposedly fun superhero (future) flick.
Poor editing and not too great acting but because watching it at a Dolby Atmos, the lazyboys rocked whenever the power rangers were walking, waking up the audience from an otherwise linear movie.
It is unfortunate with the lack of a good script, even the great Breaking Bad Mr. White Bryan Cranston cannot make it through with his digitized face. For those who are hoping to see him act, he was only in the first scene for a few minutes.
Dacre Montgomery looks like a young Zac Efron.

All the fans were cheering and clapping hands was when Jason David Frank showed up as he was watching in awe of when Power Rangers fought off Rita Repulsa, as well as shortly during the rolling credits, when a school teacher was calling for Tommy Oliver.
One can only hope he can bring back the enthusiasm of the fans.
