Main Cast: Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly, John Goodman, Corey Hawkins, Tian Jing

Review: 7.8 out of 10 stars.

Very good 3D CGI especially watching at the wall size IMAX. You can tell much of the effort spent on making it as real and as jumpy to you as possible. The orchestra soundtrack was haunting.

Some quick scenes were made comic book like.

Kong and other monsters were portrayed more like monsters than emotional. Some of the storyline was far fetched / stretched and fragmented, making it a bit hard to follow.

Another big project from Tencent Productions. It’s a bit uncertain why current American politics has to be involved. A fantasy action monster flick can really just be that. The sidetracked plot simply distracted the audience especially to the non-American audience.

Definitely stay after the credits.

— Spoiler Ahead —

Why Samuel L. Jackson’s character has to be so negative and war like, with his 1-liner political comment are beyond understanding. This makes the movie less enjoyable but more like a hidden agenda.
