Review: 6.8 out of 10 stars.

Dog lover film.

Imagine a dog “who” already loves you unconditionally and you are his one and only, and who now speaks your language, is worldly, smart, knowledgeable.

The story surrounds a dog who did not get adopted and ended up fighting to be one of the smartest being (more than human beings!) and found the baby boy Sherman being left in a box in the street. He raised Sherman like a son but would only allow him to call him Mr. Peabody because after all, he knew they are different.

It led to a series of time travel events that made the movie worth watching for the adults with some playing with words. Younger kids may not fully comprehend all the historical references but adults will get a few chuckles.

Unlike other recent 3D movies, this one’s sound was a bit flat but ending credits orchestra was good. Pop songs from Lennon and Hendrix were also neat.

No after the credits.

It’s interesting to see, but not too surprisingly as it’s been done before, to time travel back to Da Vinci, Trojan Wars and other historical figures. The drawing was cute to keep the audience interested.
