Lobsta Truck (Eat/Drink)

LobstaTruckRating: Good
Where: Mobile truck, SOMA, San Francisco, CA (SoMa StrEat Food Park, 428 11th Street between Bryant Street and Harrison Street)

Review: Food trucks have been a hype for a few years. Generally the food is expensive for its quantity and quality and lacks restaurant style service especially at food parks where those are folding tables and chairs except the SOMA Food truck park that’s a stationary, but wows for novelty and convenience and variety.

Lobsta Truck is one of those, shipped in frozen Maine lobsters and crabs (not sure if crabs are flown in too) are served in a brioche taste hot dog bun. It’s fairly small for $14 for the lobster and $13 for the crab even there’s a good amount of meat. You get about 1 claw worth of lobster and a few for the crab. You add butter or mayo on it.

Taste was alright and texture was good as it’s firm but not tough.

They also serve clam chowder and lobster bisque.

So eat it as an appetizer rather than a meal.
