Review: 6.2 out of 10 stars.
It’s an aging plot movie, a bunch of older guys who went to Vegas for Bachelor party so they can feel young again. It felt longer than an hour and half and wish this is the last Vegas movie.
A few punch lines here and there but it’s just famous actors trying to make fun of themselves getting old.
There’s an obvious twist and that part was better drama that made the movie a tad bit better.
It’s lukewarm and pretty much about the relationship between Douglas and De Niro. It was not totally believable but you got 2 amazing actors who can make you believe whatever they say.
— Spoiler ahead —
The fact that Douglas was in love with the first woman whom he gave up so that his best friend De Niro had it was lame. It’s fair in love and war. But you have to laugh when others laughed about everything about him was “fake” including his “tan” and hair color.
De Niro’s discovering the second woman talking about the truth of the first with Douglas was the best part of the movie, making people tear as everyone felt so bad for him. He did nothing wrong, he was truly in love, yet he felt cheated all of a sudden, whether his life of all along a lie, only to then truly realize he was wrong, that his first love, his forever wife and him had the true experience together, despite what happened in the beginning.
This was what made this movie great, the only part.
